Qualifications

• Experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Handling 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims across operating territories or equivalent experience.
• Handling moderately complex claims or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages.
• Understanding of each phase of the claim handling process.

Responsibilities

• Investigates origin and cause of claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, and others.
• Identifies complex issues and seeks assistance as needed; handles claims in good faith.
• Handles both 1st party and 3rd party claims across multiple policy types.
• Conducts on-site inspections, evaluates damages, and negotiates settlements.
• Communicates status and process to all parties; closes files as appropriate.
