Erie Insurance is seeking a Property Claims Adjuster to operate from a home office with daily travel to inspect properties within the assigned territory. The role will involve handling claims, managing reserves, and coordinating with agents and district sales managers across several states.

A company car and home-work equipment are provided. Ideal candidates live within Eastern Allegheny County or surrounding areas, and a valid driver's license plus willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with claims handling experience, or ERIE-sponsored education; or Bachelor's Degree.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Willingness to travel and may serve on catastrophe duty.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to service territory and coordinate with agents and managers.

Responsabilités

• Handle property claims within designated authority and perform investigations and inspections.
• Set reserves and determine payments; issue checks or declines payment as required.
• Document claim files and submit final reports for closure.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate action.
• Travel within assigned territory to conduct property inspections.
