Responsibilities

• Investigates origin and cause of claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, and others.
• Identifies complex issues and seeks assistance as needed; handles claims in good faith.
• Handles both 1st party and 3rd party claims across multiple policy types.
• Conducts on-site inspections when needed and evaluates damages.
• Negotiates and settles claims with insureds and claimants.
• Interprets policies and applies coverages to assigned losses.
• Keeps all parties informed about claim status and process.
