Job summary

CBRE is seeking an accountant to apply cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare and deliver financial reports for CBRE clients and properties in a hybrid Bloomington role. You will complete accounting transactions, create and post journal entries, and ensure accurate posting of expenses, receipts, owner distributions, and funding requests.

You will also generate and review financial packages on a schedule to ensure timely delivery, adhere to CAPP standards, review funding and payment

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting or finance required.
• Two years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Experience with real estate accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for client properties.
• Assemble and review financial packages for timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Client Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP).
• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for assigned portfolios.
• Assist training of teammates on transitions.
• Coordinate work with SPOC guidelines.
