Job summary

CBRE Senior Property Accountant will apply advanced accounting fundamentals to create, review and organize complex financial statements and reports.

In this General Accounting role, you will develop and maintain accounting processes, close monthly books, reconcile ledgers, prepare budgets and cash flow statements, and support billing, audits, and system enhancements while upholding CBRE's values of respect, integrity, service and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply judgment.
• Advanced math skills with ability to perform complex calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial documents including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, budgets, and payroll.
• Close month-end entries and reconcile balance sheets and income statements.
• Post to GL and review variances to budget and forecast changes.
• Review variance explanations and investigate accounts receivable issues.
• Assist with accounting system conversions or enhancements and educate peers.
