Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to apply cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare, analyze, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a portfolio of CBRE clients and properties in Bloomington.

This hybrid role requires 1-2 days in the Bloomington office. Starting compensation ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 annually, with an expansive career development path toward senior partner roles within CBRE.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or related field; or an associate degree with 2 years of experience.
• Two years of accounting/finance experience; real estate accounting software preferred.
• GAAP knowledge; ability to analyze financial statements and reports.
• Strong written, oral, organizational and analytical skills; proficiency with Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries; ensure all expenses, receipts, distributions and other transactions are recorded.
• Generate and review client financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Adhere to Client Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) for reporting requirements.
• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy and authorization per procedures.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and client transitions; support audits and transitions.
