Job summary

CDP seeks a financial accounting professional to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting for a portfolio of properties. You will work with Portfolio Controller to maintain books, close monthly periods, and record journal entries like rental revenue and CAM accruals.

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of internal controls are essential. Responsibilities include variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and collaboration with Property Management to update forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related discipline required.
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for assigned properties.
• Perform month-end close activities for portfolio.
• Record monthly journal entries including rental revenue and CAM accruals.
• Prepare variance analysis vs. budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations for review.
• Ensure internal controls are maintained.
