Job summary

CBRE Accounting Manager in Bloomington, MN leads a real estate accounting team to deliver accurate client reporting for assigned portfolios and properties. You will implement processes to ensure compliance with reporting standards and review and certify the accuracy of financial reports produced by the team.

You will supervise staff, optimize staffing, coach team members, and partner with field and account management to ensure management agreements and pricing are correctly applied.

Qualifications

• Degree from a four-year college or university program with an emphasis in accounting or finance.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree plus 2 years related work experience, or a high school diploma plus 4 years proven experience.
• Sophisticated knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to analyze financial data.
• Ability to set work unit timelines and manage staff performance.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Review staff work product to ensure complete release to internal departments and external clients.
• Manage allocation of rescue team members to support global delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely, accurate customer requests with strong service orientation.
• Assist with internal/external property and client transitions per Management Agreement scope.
• Review budgets and year-end recovery calculations for timely completion.
• Provide supervision, recruitment, promotion, and mentoring to staff while upholding company values.
