5812 Investment Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor with strong leadership to guide a staff handling AP and utility accounting across multi-location properties. The role emphasizes accuracy, process efficiency, and internal controls within a housing-focused portfolio.

You will oversee the full-cycle AP, support month-end closes, and collaborate with regional teams to ensure timely, compliant reporting. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including supervising staff and accounts payable.
• Experience in residential property management or similar multi-location operations is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts payable and utility accounting staff, including scheduling and mentoring.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in invoice processing, payment methods and utility tracking.
• Oversee full-cycle AP, check runs and utility billing reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain written accounting policies and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in month-end financial close and review reports with Accounting Manager/Controller.
