Job summary

PF Holdings is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee a small AP team in the Texas area. The role focuses on training staff, maintaining strong internal controls, and resolving invoicing and payment issues while partnering with vendors and business systems teams.

The successful candidate will manage month-end accruals, reconciliations, and daily AP reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a supervisory position with direct reports in AP or AR.
• Strong understanding of the purchasing process and PO lifecycle.
• Experience hiring, motivating and managing a team.
• Good communication with support personnel and management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AP staff including training and directing workflow.
• Identify training needs and provide training.
• Maintain internal controls to prevent audit findings and monetary risks such as fraud or duplicate payments.
• Improve processes to scale the business and strengthen the control environment.
• Resolve problems using prior experience and sound judgment.
• Work with suppliers to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
• Collaborate with business systems teams to maintain and improve systems.
• Assist Accounting with month-end accruals and reconciliations.
• Oversee payment approvals and resolve payment issues with vendors.
• Prepare and maintain daily AP reports and metrics.
• Month-end close activities: journal entries and reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
