Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade licenses vary by location.
• HVAC license and propane certification required or obtainable.
• CDL with HazMat endorsement often needed; driving duties possible.
• Experience installing and repairing propane/oil heating systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret diagrams for installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair propane/oil heating systems and related equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC units and appliances per codes.
• Read blueprints and schematics to perform installations and repairs.
• Interface with customers, schedule service and discuss options.
• Operate SSC vehicles safely and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain documentation, inventory and service records.
