AmeriGas Propane Exchange is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a staff of hourly workers and Supervisors across multiple distribution sites. You will oversee safety, staffing, and productivity, ensuring efficient production and timely movement of propane products.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety discipline, and focus on customer service. You will manage expenditures, coordinate vendors, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced propane distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing in a manufacturing environment.
• Reinforces a safety mindset and prioritizes customer needs.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing techniques (Six Sigma, 5S).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety code compliance and audits.
• Plan, hire, direct, and develop staff.
• Drive productivity and control operating expenses at the production center.
• Coordinate freight movement and supply orders for production and district needs.
• Maintain plant organization and safety practices.
