Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking an Operations Manager - Propane to provide zone-wide leadership for propane operations, safety, and asset management. The role focuses on establishing standards, driving regulatory compliance, optimizing fleet utilization, and ensuring safe meeting of customer demand across all propane locations.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include an Associate's Degree; a Bachelor's is preferred.
• CETP certification is a plus for the candidate.
• Extensive experience in multi-site propane or industrial gas operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead propane safety program and ensure regulatory compliance across locations.
• Oversee training, CETP requirements, audits, investigations, and emergency readiness.
• Establish operational standards and best practices for propane sites.
• Drive fleet utilization, routing efficiency, and asset deployment improvements.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to align capabilities with growth objectives.
• Support capital planning, budgeting, and cost-to-serve improvement efforts.
• Partner with sales leadership to enable customer acquisition and retention.
