Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos in California is seeking an organized Special Events Assistant to support the management team in developing and executing promotions and events for the property and external exhibitions.

You will coordinate calendars, collaborate with Casino Marketing, MC events, handle paperwork, and ensure guest satisfaction while supporting multiple departments and managing logistics for both on-property and off-property events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 1 year event management and/or promotional experience or training
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work with all departments
• Superior customer relations skills and innovative thinking for promotions/events

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Events Management team in creating and maintaining the events calendar to meet revenue objectives and timely promotions
• Work with Casino Marketing to create and execute new events
• MC promotions/events and manage large group settings
• Provide reception, filing, reporting and tracking support for all events
• Prepare paperwork and approvals for ACGC
• Coordinate all event paperwork, including winners logs and release forms
• Monitor promotions for compliance and provide feedback on execution and guest satisfaction
• Arrange promotional materials including decorations and gifts
• Coordinate with EVS, Engineering, IT, F&B, Slot, Table Games, and other departments
