Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos seeks a Special Events Shift Manager to supervise promotions and events, report on performance, and support the management team. This exempt full-time role reports to the Special Events Ops Manager and coordinates with multiple departments to ensure promotions run smoothly and on budget.

Candidates should have 3+ years in marketing, events or casino promotions, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of marketing, events and/or casino promotions experience.
• Experience creating, planning and executing casino promotions and events.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, presentation and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Understanding of casino operations and guest service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Events Ops Manager in creating and maintaining the events calendar to meet revenue objectives.
• Plan, budget and oversee assigned projects.
• Supervise tasks to Special Events Coordinators with manager approval; prepare and execute promotions/events with quality support.
• Develop event/promotion materials including proformas and checklists; coordinate with property communications and post-event analysis.
• Work with Gaming Submissions and ensure events align with approved submissions.
