Job summary

iHeartMedia in Hartford, CT is seeking a part-time Promotions & Events Assistant to bring stations, talent, and clients to life through local events. You’ll help plan and execute concerts, activations, and live broadcasts, ensuring brand alignment and flawless execution.

You’ll coordinate logistics, collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing, lead on-site events, engage listeners and clients, and help track event performance.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing local events and promotions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of local events and promotions aligned with station branding and client objectives.
• Coordinate logistics for venues: setup, staffing, signage, giveaways, and tech.
• Collaborate with Sales, Programming and Marketing to develop integrated campaigns driving engagement and revenue.
• Serve as on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation.
• Engage listeners and clients to create brand interactions and gather feedback.
• Maintain promotional inventory and prep/transport materials as needed.
• Support digital and social media efforts by capturing content and promoting events.
• Track and report on event performance, including attendance and engagement.
