Job summary

iHeartMedia in High Point, NC is seeking a part-time Events Promoter to bring our stations, talent and clients to life through unforgettable experiences at local concerts, activations and broadcasts.

You will coordinate logistics, lead on-site during events, collaborate with Sales and Marketing, and help grow listener engagement while delivering professional, energetic representation.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with the public and clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of local events and promotions aligned with station branding and client objectives.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, staffing, signage, giveaways, and tech needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing to develop integrated campaigns boosting listener engagement.
• Serve as on-site lead at events, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation.
• Engage with listeners and clients to create memorable brand interactions and gather feedback.
• Maintain promotional inventory and ensure materials are prepped and transported as needed.
• Support digital and social media by capturing content and promoting events.
• Track and report on event performance, including attendance and client satisfaction.
