Job summary

Interlake Mecalux, Inc. is hiring a Project Support specialist to manage project administration in the Operations Department and ensure successful project closures.

You will analyze scopes, deadlines, and requirements while overseeing budgets, expenses, invoices, and subcontractor needs to improve quality and reduce costs. Responsibilities include supporting Project Managers through all project phases, ensuring compliance, and maintaining proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; organized and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and closure of projects.
• Ensure procedures and methodology compliance during project execution.
• Assist with costs, reporting, and approvals in the field.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (POs, COIs, NDAs, manuals) with subcontractors and staff.
• Analyze and manage purchase orders for operations and installation.
• Review and post project expenses.
• Coordinate with accounting on cost codification and budget adjustments; assist closure.
• Support Head of Operations to improve internal projects via KPI analysis and policy changes.
• Engage in company needs and seek training opportunities within Operations.
