Job summary

Mecalux in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Project Support specialist to manage the administration side of ongoing projects within the Operations Department. You will support Project Managers through all project fases, monitor costs, invoices, and ensure proper documentation between subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and a preference for bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Project Managers in initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure of projects.
• Check for compliance regarding procedures and methodology during project implementation.
• Support Project Managers in implementation costs, reporting, and approvals.
• Control accuracy and sharing of documentation (POs, COIs, NDAs, manuals) between subcontractors and internal staff.
• Analyze and manage operations and installation department purchase orders and expenses.
• Collaborate with accounting on cost codification and budget adjustments; assist with project closure.
• Assist Head of Operations in improving internal projects by analyzing KPIs and policies changes.
• Engage with the business to identify training opportunities within Operations.
