Interlake Mecalux, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate to support the Accounts Payable function, handling complex vendor invoices and payments with SAP and advanced Excel.

You will research discrepancies, maintain vendor records, and assist in month-end close to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial distribution, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional, related experience.
• Previous exposure to SAP preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Match invoices to receiving documents and quotes in SAP; research high-volume data using spreadsheets and SAP reports.
• Research vendor statements and discrepancies; contact Purchasing and Logistics for resolution.
• Investigate payment errors, overpayments, and duplicates using SAP data and vendor correspondence.
• Set up new vendors and manage vendor accounts in compliance with company policies.
• Audit and process credit card bills and expense reports; collaborate with Sales and Operations on related orders.
• Support month-end and year-end closes; prepare journals and accruals.
• Provide various reports to internal and external partners.
• File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.
• Other duties as needed to meet business demand.
