TYLin Buildings in Rochester, New York seeks a Project Structural Engineer to join our team. You will work on structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects, coordinating with staff and clients, and contributing to feasible, constructible solutions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, 3–6 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with software such as RISA, SAP, RAM, and REVIT. P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 3–6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

Job Summary

TYLin's Buildings team brings creativity and technical excellence to new and existing buildings around the world. Our primary services, structural engineering for buildings, include new construction projects, as well as renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation. Within that broad range, we offer further expertise in specific services including architectural services, code consulting, façade engineering, lightweight structures, and construction support services.

We are seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our TYLin | Buildings team in Rochester, New York.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base compensation range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually for this position and local market.
