Job summary

Viking Electric in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Warehouse Project Staging Specialist to coordinate operational and administrative activities for project staging, including receiving, shipping, and managing project material.

You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure space, equipment, and packaging needs; you’ll support outbound deliveries and maintain organized project folders while adapting to special project requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 75 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Email & Internet Use.
• Comfortable using RF devices or other warehouse technology.
• Experience/knowledge of warehouse equipment and machines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments with sales, vendors, and freight companies; monitor and verify items against documents.
• Create and maintain project folders of packing slips; close out and archive as required.
• Assemble, package, sort, and label to meet project specifications.
• Coordinate outbound deliveries with the shipping department; understand routes and transfer systems.
• Support coordination of receiving, shipping, and project material management.
