Job summary

RES is seeking a Project Safety Manager I to lead safety on wind, solar, substation, transmission, or energy storage projects in the US or Canada. You will promote safety culture, coach teams, and serve as SME for health and safety with clients and regulators.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training. Location: Victoria, Texas. This is a full-time, bonus-eligible position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Supports safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training.
• Acts as SME and liaison for health and safety for the project team and client.
• Leads incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Develops site-specific documentation (JHA, Site Safety Plan, Emergency Plans).

Responsibilities

• Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training.
• Acts as subject matter expert and liaison for health and safety for the project team and client.
• Leads safety-related discussions at project meetings and client meetings.
• Develops incident reports to support investigations and tracks corrective actions.
• Maintains incident data and safety metrics for reports.
