Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd seeks a Project Safety Manager I to implement the RESSystem (SMS) across wind, solar, substation, transmission, and energy storage projects in the US or Canada. The role focuses on coaching, regulatory liaison, incident investigations, and leading safety discussions at key site and client meetings.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and willingness to travel 76–100%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• 3+ years of Construction Industry Safety experience required.
• Domestic and International travel 76-100% required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training.
• Acts as subject matter expert and liaison for health and safety for the project team and client.
• Leads safety-related discussions at Plan of the Day (POD) Meetings, All Hands Meetings, Tailgate Meetings, Staff Meetings, Kickoff/Preparatory, and Client/Owner Meetings.
• Maintains incident data and safety metrics to compile reports.
• Inspect work areas to verify consistency with procedural, client, and regulatory requirements.
