Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the QC program on a single project. The role involves maintaining the ITP, scheduling tests, witnessing field and lab work, and generating daily QC reports with nonconformances tracked to closure.

You will manage documentation, engineer communications, and ensure certification and calibration timeliness, on a site-based project with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable telling a superintendent that a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and NCR records; track nonconformances to closure.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
