Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the project quality program on a single site, maintaining the ITP, scheduling tests, and tracking nonconformances. You will write daily QC reports and coordinate with the superintendent and engineer of record to close NCRs.

With 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC, you will read specs/drawings, schedule tests, and mentor field inspectors toward owning the program. Travel as needed on various projects is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC on a project.
• Certified by at least one of ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC Special Inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Able to read specs/drawings and convert to test schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project ITP and testing frequency log against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests.
• Verify technician certifications and calibrations.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close NCRs with superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
