Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report, ensuring all records are up to date for audit readiness.

Responsibilities include opening and tracking nonconformances with the superintendent and engineer of record, keeping submittal and material certification files current, and progressing toward the next level

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or QC on a project.
• At least one certification: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate into a test schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ITP and testing frequency log against specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Verify certifications of technicians; write daily QC report; keep records audit-ready.
• Open, track, and close NCRs with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
