Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the project quality program on a single site. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and produce daily QC reports while tracking NCRs through to closure.

Candidates should have 3+ years in construction materials testing with relevant certifications and the ability to read specs and drawings, and to communicate test results clearly to the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to communicate test results to superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily quality control report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
