Job description

A fast-paced, growing project team in Chandler, AZ is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Planning Coordinator to support ongoing operations at a semiconductor project site. This role plays a key part in coordinating project activities, managing space planning logistics, and supporting communication between construction teams, contractors, and corporate stakeholders. This position is a project space planning and logistics coordinator position.

Ideal candidates will have experience in project coordination, space planning, construction environments, and stakeholder engagement. A background in high-tech manufacturing or pharmaceuticals is preferred, and familiarity with architectural drawings or floor plans is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain relationships with Construction Managers, Corporate Planning teams, Project Managers, and contractors.
• Support project planning efforts as directed by client leadership.
• Track and document headcount and seating assignments for both client and contractor teams.
• Audit construction headcount by contractor and manage associated reporting.
• Organize and lead recurring planning and coordination meetings.
• Manage space planning requests, including office setup, furniture, equipment, and signage coordination.
• Coordinate employee moves and maintain system of record for seating and space assignments.
• Assist with execution and documentation of project plans, timelines, and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain and manage sitewide contact distribution lists and communication updates.
• Lead weekly operations and logistics meetings, tracking actions and outcomes.
• Support construction-related programs and onsite event logistics, including setup and cleanup.
• Assist in the execution and filing of project legal and compliance documents.
• Create reports and analyses for client review as requested.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, space planning, facilities management, or a related field.
• Experience in construction environments or high-tech / pharmaceutical industries is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with architectural drawings, floor plans, or CAD layouts is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; additional software knowledge is a plus.
