Job summary

Summit Integrated Systems, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee installation projects from kickoff through completion, acting as the main contact between clients and internal teams.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and risks while coordinating with engineering, assembly, installation, and sales to keep projects on track. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in technical/AVL project management, and travel to sites including out of state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in a technical, installation, construction, or AVL environment.
• 3+ years of experience in the House of Worship industry.
• Experience managing projects from planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
• OSHA-10 Certification required (Summit will provide).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ability to travel to project sites, including out-of-state locations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under Summit’s insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, Summit teams, contractors, architects, and other project partners.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, workplans, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, assembly, installation, sales, and other internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks, including those related to customer changes or site conditions.
• Coordinate installation schedules and project requirements with clients and general contractors through meetings and site visits.
• Manage external contractors and ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Support project closeout, debriefs, and continuous improvement of Summit’s project management processes.
