Description

Sambatek, LLC is a professional services firm that specializes in civil engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services. We serve public and private clients throughout the country with office locations in Minnesota, Texas, and North Carolina. We embrace challenging projects and work hard to help our clients find success.

Summary

The Project Manager role provides an opportunity to work directly with clients while leading a team that includes a project engineer, CAD designer, and permit coordinator. Projects are primarily commercial, ranging in size from under 1 acre to 5 acres.

  • Work Location: Hybrid, in office as needed
  • Pay: Salary (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and guide commercial developments through the site development and civil engineering processes
  • Develop project plans including but not limited to goal, strategy, identification of risk, scheduling, budget, allotment of resources, analysis of development alternatives and communicate with team
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate to team and customers on status of projects
  • Provide day-to-day guidance for projects' activities
  • Identify and solve projects' challenges with team members
  • Evaluate resources, monitor schedules and workflow
  • Write proposals for leads and existing clients
  • Maintain and build client relationships
  • May travel to construction sites to assist with project needs

Requirements

  • College degree in related field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of land planning, civil engineering, or related experience
  • Experience working with city officials and guiding projects through the permitting and review process
  • Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, creativity, and mature judgement
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment
  • Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
