Responsibilities
- Handle supply planning, purchasing, and import activities for a defined product portfolio.
- Review demand forecasts and propose corresponding order templates for each product (volume and schedule) based on supply policies.
- Place orders with overseas suppliers, interact daily to track order status, confirm schedules, and make adjustments as necessary. Ensure weekly updates of the PSI to track current orders and plan for the next 18 months.
- Coordinate with sea/air forwarders and customs brokers to prepare and clear import applications for all orders.
- Engage with 3PL partners to confirm inbound schedules.
- Share invoices and related documents internally for processing.
- Manage inventory by anticipating stock demands based on current and future business needs to avoid excess, obsolete stock, and backorders.
- Arrange product claims with exporters when necessary.
- Create inventory reports and present suggestions to internal teams for better visibility.
- Support the implementation of best practices.
- In case of supply constraints, collaborate with suppliers, sales, and marketing managers to overcome challenges.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Business English (written and spoken; speaking is a plus).
- Proactive and responsible attitude.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented and cooperative mindset.
- Self-starter with initiative.
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers for production and shipment.
- Proficiency in Excel; VBA skills are a plus.
- Experience in project management for operational improvement.
