Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager to lead challenging engineering and construction projects in the United States. You will define project scope, develop schedules and budgets, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

You will manage risk, control costs, review subcontractor invoices, and guide staff while maintaining strong client relationships. Travel may be required depending on project demands and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; 4 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with WBS and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Identifies, quantifies and communicates residual risk; implements mitigation.
• Manages project costs and profitability; ensures timely client billings and payments.
• Coaches staff; builds strong client relationships and ensures on-time project outcomes.
