Job summary

PLATT in Boise, ID is seeking a Project Manager I to manage low complexity projects, track shipments, and bill customers accurately. You will own customer relationships with support from leadership and coordinate with sales and vendors to meet project goals.

The role emphasizes clear communication, timely pricing, and efficient project leadership to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. On-site position with opportunity for growth within Rexel USA family.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of quotation, project management, or customer service experience
• Experience in electrical distribution industry preferred
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of low profile/complex projects
• Communicate to the customer, expedite OS&Ds and resolve customer issues promptly
• Read through all Purchase Orders to understand requirements and ensure terms are correct
• Work with sales and vendors to obtain additional margin when possible
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales teams on pricing, order placement, claims and returns
• Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction
• Manage the delivery schedule, product quality, information updates and back charges
• Receive day to day requests from the project and large packages from the Quotation team
• Provide timely price quotations, requotes, and/or proposals
• Determine vendors and purchase requirements for pricing advantages and substitutions to improve profitability
• Coordinate with project team for documentation such as O&M manuals, test reports, submittal packages, and Certificates of Compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
