Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Platt team in East Boise, ID. You will drive proactive inside telephone or email sales, establish and maintain customer relationships, and process quotes and orders for customers.

You will support outside sales, utilize company digital tools to market and promote products, prospect for new accounts, and report on market trends while ensuring exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize digital tools to sell, promote, and demonstrate products.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Close orders and resolve customer issues with root-cause analysis.
• Provide quotes/proposals and follow up through purchase cycle.
• Report market trends and competitor information to management.
