Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Electrical Distribution Project Manager to join our Denver, CO team. The Project Manager II or Senior level will manage complex projects, communicate with customers and vendors, and drive profitability while maintaining schedule and quality.

The role requires 3+ years in quotation and project management, with high school or GED. MS Office skills and strong communication are essential. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quotation, project management, and customer service experience.
• Experience in electrical distribution industry HIGHLY preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of low profile/complex projects.
• Communicate to the customer, expedite OS&Ds and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Read through all Purchase Orders to get an understanding of requirements and ensure terms and conditions are correct.
• Work with sales and vendors to obtain additional margin when possible.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales teams on pricing, order placement, claims and returned goods, ensuring we meet customer expectations.
• Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the delivery schedule, product quality, information updates and back charges.
• Receive day to day requests from the project as well as large packages from the Quotation team.
• With assistance from leadership, provide timely price quotations, requotes, and/or proposals.
• Work with leadership to determine vendors and purchase requirements looking for additional pricing advantages and product substitution opportunities to improve profitability.
• Coordinate with project team for documentation requirements such as O&M manuals, Test Reports, submittal packages, and Certificates of Compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
