Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on our projects, applying core construction management practices and company standards. You will help manage punch lists, prepare reports, monitor materials, and assist with self-perform work alongside the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Experience in construction projects is preferred or entry-level acceptable.
• Familiarity with safety and QA/QC processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and quality plans and culture by adhering to procedures.
• Participate in QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
• Assist with estimating, take-off, and review of subcontractor proposals.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantities, and equipment.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation, reports and meetings notes.
• Maintain procurement logs and track shop drawings and deliveries.
• Support project scheduling with progress updates and reporting.
