Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Manager 1 to provide overall direction for a project in collaboration with the Project Superintendent. You will build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, design teams and subcontractors, supporting the company’s strategy, vision and values.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, preconstruction support, procurement, plan and submittal management, and rigorous cost control.

Qualifications

Proven ability to perform work accurately, on time, and with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in MS Office and construction management tools.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of project direction with the Project Superintendent.
Manage preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, scope reviews and bid packages.
Coordinate subcontractors, owners and design teams to meet budget and schedule.
Oversee submittal schedules, shop drawings, and samples with architects/engineers.
Develop and maintain project budgets, cost tracking and monthly reporting.
Lead monthly progress and OAC meetings and manage closeout processes.
