Job summary

Henderson Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager I to provide oversight and coordination of project scope, budgets, and client communications. You will lead project teams on small to medium programs and support larger projects across multiple markets.

Applicants should have a formal engineering background, strong collaboration skills, and a track record of delivering quality outcomes. This role emphasizes client experience and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business required.
• Strong MEP experience is a must.
• 3 years of relevant experience required, including a minimum of 2 years of project management exposure; minimum 7 years without a degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• Basic proficiency in project management standards and execution required.
• Fundamental understanding of building design and construction principles required.
• Self-starter with the ability to influence and motivate others to achieve goals.
• Successful track record of effective collaboration, communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of project execution and client experience on assigned projects; may support larger/more complex projects.
• Assists with the development of project proposals, contracts and project budgets.
• Plans and coordinates project deliverables on assigned projects; may support planning and coordination on larger/more complex projects.
• Manages client service and project communication.
• Monitors and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
• Responsible for overall project performance.
• Contributes to efforts to improve performance and ensure consistent adherence to applicable quality standards.
• Supports creating specific program project fees.
• Maintains regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with the project process and engineering work product.
