Job summary

Henderson Engineers in New York is seeking a Project Manager to drive execution across six market sectors. You will work with our Henderson Building Solutions team to deliver a superior client experience and manage scope, budgets, and schedules on diverse projects.

The role requires strong PM skills, proven client relationship ability, and experience with proposal development, budgeting, and bid processes. This position is based in New York and involves site travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business preferred.
• 4 years of relevant experience within the AEC or Professional Services industry can substitute for degree.
• 8 years of relevant experience required, incl. at least 4 yearsPM experience.
• Proficiency in project management standards and execution is required.
• Strong ability to build and nurture client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all aspects of project execution and client experience on assigned projects; may support larger/more complex projects.
• Assist with development of project proposals, contracts, and project budgets.
• Manage the bid processes.
• Plan and coordinate project deliverables on assigned projects; may support planning on larger/more complex projects.
• Manage client service and project communication.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
• Responsible for overall project performance.
• Contribute to efforts to improve performance and ensure quality standards.
