Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil underground utility-scale power and dry utilities projects. Location options include Gilbert, AZ or Prineville, OR with 20% travel.

Salary ranges from $125,000 to $185,000 annually, DOE, with opportunities to lead complex projects. You will plan, coordinate, and manage multi-department teams, track budgets, and ensure project compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience on heavy civil projects.
• Experience using project documents to meet building requirements.
• PM/CM/QC roles on large-scale power civil projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HCSS HeavyJob/HeavyBid and Microsoft Project or willingness to be trained.
• Team player, detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work long hours and varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• New project planning and coordination among internal departments, subcontractors, and clients.
• Track project completion, daily production, materials, equipment usage, changes to conditions, etc.
• Understand the scope, terminology, and project documents.
• Read, interpret, understand, and recognize project specifications and drawings; construct per design.
• Schedule building and maintenance.
• AP invoice review/approval.
• Monthly billings.
• Timecard review/approval.
• Budget review and budget maintenance during construction.
• Project projections (materials, productivity, manpower, equipment).
• Relationship building (internal/external).
