Joseph Michaels International seeks a Project Manager for NCDOT heavy civil work in the Greensboro, NC area, with projects across central North Carolina. The PM will lead NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility initiatives from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules and safety.

Ideal candidates will have NCDOT PM experience, strong cost control, and a track record of managing field teams and subcontractors to deliver quality results. Relocation to central NC is welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work.
• NCDOT project experience as PM is required; be ready to name the jobs.

Responsabilités

• Manage NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margins for each project.
• Submit cost and income projections and address variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders; manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost; coordinate with estimating for bids.
