Job summary

Lusternational seeks experienced Project Managers for high-value heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water/wastewater projects in the United States. Roles span planning through construction and closeout, with accountability for scope, budget, schedule, and risk on multi-year programs.

Candidates will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with public agencies and contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, or engineering management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of project management experience on large, complex heavy-civil projects (>$500M).
• Experience managing scope, budget, schedule, and risk from design through construction and closeout.
• Experience with construction contract administration (submittals, RFIs, change management, progress payments).
• Experience coordinating designers, contractors, agencies, and third parties across the life of a project.
• Experience with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of assigned projects or task orders from planning to closeout.
• Oversee scope, budget, schedule, and risk; provide early, honest read to leadership.
• Coordinate with designers/contractors and elevate deviations when needed.
• Administer contracts, submittals, RFIs, and progress payments.
• Evaluate changes and claims for entitlement, cost, and schedule impact.
• Coordinate with program controls for cost forecasts and earned value reporting.
• Work with agencies/owners/third parties to integrate cross-package work.
• Oversee construction staging, quality, and safety compliance.
• Oversee commissioning and transition to maintenance.
• Report status, risk, and forecast to leadership.
