Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific seeks an experienced General Engineer/Architect (Project Manager) to lead complex MILCON and defense facility projects from concept to completion. You will direct design and construction, manage multi-million-dollar budgets, and ensure contract compliance while coordinating with executives and regulators.

The role requires engineering or architectural credentials, U.S. citizenship, a SECRET clearance, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer License or Registered Architect License is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• US Citizen and able to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of large-scale projects from concept to completion.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to project teams and manage multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Direct design, estimates, specifications, and contract compliance within scope and budget.
• Oversee A-E selection boards and construction oversight, handling changes and risk mitigation.
• Act as primary liaison to executives, regulators, and stakeholders and conduct site inspections.
