Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific in Hawaii seeks an experienced General Engineer/Architect (Project Manager) to lead end-to-end management of MILCON and commercial development projects. You will direct cross-functional teams from concept through completion, ensuring design quality, schedule adherence, and fiscal stewardship.

The role requires strong leadership, A-E process oversight, site inspections, liaison with stakeholders, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional Engineer License or Registered Architect License.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen 18+ and able to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Background check and fingerprinting required for federal employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of large-scale projects, directing cross-functional teams from concept to completion.
• Provide strategic leadership and final decision-making on scheduling, budgets, scope, and contract compliance.
• Lead and manage project design processes, ensuring plans and specs meet criteria and budget.
• Oversee design and construction contracts, A-E selection boards, and construction oversight.
• Act as liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies; conduct site inspections and mitigation.
