Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Project Manager I to join the PLATT team in Sacramento, CA. You will manage low complexity projects, track shipments, and ensure accurate billing while maintaining strong customer relationships and cross-functional communication.

With leadership support, you will collaborate with sales and vendors to improve margins, coordinate pricing, and ensure on-time delivery. A background in project management or related customer service roles is preferred, with a high school diploma

Qualifications

• 1+ years in quotation, project management, or customer service.
• Experience in electrical distribution industry preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of low profile/complex projects.
• Communicate with the customer and expedite OS&Ds and resolve issues promptly.
• Read Purchase Orders to understand requirements and ensure terms are correct.
• Work with sales and vendors to obtain additional margin when possible.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales for pricing, orders, claims, and account management.
• Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and satisfaction.
• Manage delivery schedule, product quality, information updates and back charges.
• Provide timely price quotations, requotes, and proposals.
• Determine vendors and purchasing requirements for pricing advantages and substitutions to improve profitability.
• Coordinate with project team for documentation like O&M manuals, test reports, submittals, certificates of compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
