Job summary

Intellectt Inc in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to lead capital project execution and process design initiatives. You will develop execution plans, manage scope and budgets, and coordinate with site and global leadership to align objectives and KPIs.

Responsibilities include PFDs and P&IDs development, equipment expertise, and hands-on commissioning support. Strong communication and leadership are essential to drive risk mitigation and successful handovers.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, resources, risks, and project documentation.
• Coordinate stakeholder, vendor, contractor, and engineering activities.
• Ensure project KPIs are aligned with client and business requirements, including cost savings, equipment efficiency, OPEX, CAPEX, sustainability, and business strategy.
• Liaise with Site and Global Leadership Teams to ensure project objectives and metrics remain aligned.
• Track project progress, risks, actions, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead steering committees and communicate project status to leadership.
• Ensure effective project handover and closeout.
• Perform process design, optimization, troubleshooting, and improvement activities.
• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Apply knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, and process equipment.

• Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Experience developing project scopes, SOWs, RFPs/RFQs, and project estimates.
• Strong experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and action tracking.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, task management, and resource planning.
• Experience managing stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of capital project execution and project management processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
