Just Construction Recruitment in Charleston, SC, seeks an experienced Project Manager for commercial ground-up and multi-family work across the Carolinas. You will lead from preconstruction through completion, coordinating Owners, Architects, Designers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The role requires a minimum of 5+ years in commercial/multi-family construction, a related bachelor's degree, and strong leadership, communication, and MS Project skills.

Qualifications

• Five+ years managing commercial/multi-family construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with preconstruction, change orders and project financials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial/multi-family construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, contracts, schedules and change orders.
• Lead project teams across one large project or multiple smaller projects.
• Coordinate Owners, Architects, Designers, Subcontractors and internal teams.
• Run project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Manage project documentation and accounting processes.
• Review and coordinate MEP systems throughout the project.
• Oversee construction in occupied buildings where required.
• Maintain a high standard of quality across all project phases.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and training to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and other team members.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget requirements.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
