Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an up-and-coming Project Manager for an employee-owned commercial construction client in Indianapolis, IN. The role oversees 1–2 projects ranging from $5M to $80M, with healthcare projects likely to begin quickly on the portfolio.

You’ll be the client’s day-to-day on-site contact, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with owners, architects, and subs to deliver complex facilities on time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction experience as PM or APM.
• Strong communication and relationship-building for multi-stakeholder projects.
• Comfort with budgets, costs, and schedules.
• Willingness to work onsite with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s day-to-day contact on the jobsite.
• Manage 1–2 projects at a time, from $5M to $80M in size.
• Lead projects lasting 10 months to 6 years (healthcare projects around $75M over 6 years).
• Own project budgets and cost controls.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite)

Pay: $90K-$110K per year plus bonus

• $90K-$110K base salary plus bonus

About the Opportunity

Our client, an employee-owned commercial construction company in Indianapolis, is growing fast and looking for an up-and-coming Project Manager. They have a strong pipeline in healthcare, community health, and airport work, and this hire could step into a healthcare project right away.

As an employee-owner, you'll have a real stake in the projects you deliver and in the company's long-term success.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the client's day-to-day contact on the jobsite
• Manage 1-2 projects at a time, from $5M to $80M in size
• Lead projects lasting 10 months to 6 years (healthcare projects run about $75M over 6 years)
• Own project budgets and cost controls
• Manage community health campus projects, one campus at a time
• Collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Tools You'll Use: Microsoft Office, Autodesk Build, Phoenix (scheduling), and Viewpoint (accounting and cost reporting)

What You Bring
