The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) supports youth and community services through contracts with a broad network of Community-Based Organizations (CBO) throughout New York City. NYC Talent manages the City’s talent and workforce development system, benefiting residents, employers, and the economy. It aims to develop and sustain public/private partnerships, match talent to careers, align education and skills training programs across City government, and coordinate data to support employment objectives laid out in Executive Order #22.
The Center for Youth Employment (CYE), an initiative of NYC Talent, seeks to expand and improve programs that help young New Yorkers build skills, gain experience, explore careers, and prepare for the workforce. CYE’s primary functions include developing policies, designing effective programs, and supporting agency coordination and partnerships. The Project Manager will support program development and coordination across City agencies and NYC Talent’s team, as well as external partners.
